If you don't have a hire car, you can still get to Frankfurt and surrounding cities by public and private transport. Public buses, private shuttles and taxis all offer services from Frankfurt Hahn Airport to Frankfurt.
Travel by Buses
The bus station at Frankfurt Hahn Airport is located outside the Arrivals area, directly in front of Hall B, and buses run to Frankfurt and back throughout the day. Journey times are about 1 hour, 45 minutes to Frankfurt and ticket prices are reasonable when compared with taxi rates.
Travel by Shuttle Buses
Shuttle buses serve Frankfurt from Frankfurt Hahn Airport and you can hire buses if you are travelling in a large group. There are three main shuttle bus companies that run directly to Frankfurt from the airport, which include: Bohr Omnibus GmbH, Scherer-Reisen GmbH and Co. KG and Fahrdienst Stefan Trs.
Travel by Taxi Cabs
The quickest option for reaching Frankfurt and other nearby towns and cities is to take a taxi. It is a good idea to try and split the cost of a taxi fare to Frankfurt as rates are notoriously expensive. The following taxi firms operate to Frankfurt throughout the day: Taxi am Hahn Inh.
